We are licensed by the State of Indiana

We are licensed by the State of Indiana, which establishes the authority for the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, Division of Family Resources, to regulate child care in the State. It also authorizes the division to adopt rules to implement the Federal Child Care and Development Fund voucher program administered by the Division of Family Resources, Bureau of Child Care for the State. For the safety and well-being of your child, we comply with the following state-mandated requirements:

  • License specialist visits unannounced once per year
  • License specialist conduct criminal history checks on Provider
  • Criminal story checks from the state police on all employees

  • Foundations to the Indiana Academic Standards for Young Children from Birth to Age 5
  • License specialist checks the sex offender registry for the names of Provider’s and employees
  • Annual physical exam completed by a physician or nurse practitioner
  • Manitou (TB) Tuberculin test
  • Annual CPR training
  • First aid, and universal precautions training required every two years
  • Safe Sleep Practices training
  • Local Fire Department contacted and notified
  • Assistants and volunteers must have a physical exam and show proof of negative TB test
  • Training in fire prevention and safety procedures
  • Fire extinguishers and smoke alarms
